DC Charging

What DC charging offers.

Direct Current (DC) charging is gaining popularity for its ability to deliver fast charging—from 50kW to 1MW—making it ideal for fleets with high mileage or limited downtime, such as logistics, last-mile delivery, and passenger transport. It supports both overnight depot charging and quick top-ups during the day while enabling effective load management. DC charging also supports advanced energy strategies, including static and dynamic load management, helping operators balance power demand and infrastructure constraints.

Commercial Charging Solutions

EO’s solutions are hardware agnostic, offering the flexibility to work with any OCPP-compliant DC charger to meet the diverse needs of commercial fleets. While we have official and preferred hardware partners, we’re happy to accommodate a customer’s chosen hardware. Our expert team will advise on the most suitable DC charging setup based on each fleet’s unique requirements, ensuring optimal performance and future scalability. Within commercial EV charging, there are three main categories of chargers, helping businesses identify the right solution for their operational needs.

Plug-in charging is ideal for return-to-base fleets, making the most of vehicle dwell time to ensure efficient energy use. Overnight charging, for instance, allows fleets to recharge vehicles during downtime, ensuring they’re ready for operation each morning without disrupting daytime activity.
