EO Charging Partners with ev.energy to Enhance Mini Pro 3 Home Charging Experience

Delivering greater value to home charging customers with award-winning smart charging software.

London, UK – 7th July 2025 – EO Charging, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has today announced an official partnership with ev.energy, a leading smart electric vehicle (EV) charging software platform for its EO Mini Pro 3 customers. The collaboration is designed to bring enhanced smart charging capabilities to EO Mini Pro 3 customers, helping them reduce costs, lower their carbon footprint, and optimise their home charging experience.

As part of the partnership, all EO Mini Pro 3 customers will transition to the ev.energy app, where they can access a range of intelligent features, including automatic off-peak charging, real-time energy usage insights, and tailored charging schedules. The app also enables users to earn rewards for charging with low-carbon electricity and integrates with residential solar PV systems, giving users even greater control over how and when they charge.

"As EO focuses its efforts on EV fleets, it's essential that we form partnerships capable of delivering best-in-class home charging—offering customers greater choice, enhanced control, and exceptional value," said Richard Staveley, CEO of EO Charging. "By teaming up with ev.energy, we’re enabling EO Mini Pro 3 users to benefit from a trusted, industry-leading smart charging experience that makes it easier to save money, charge greener, and get the most out of their electric vehicles."

Julie Taylor, VP of Global Sales & Client Success at ev.energy added: "We’re delighted to be working with EO and integrating our smart charging technology with their high-quality Mini Pro 3 home charger. This partnership delivers an even better charging experience for drivers, empowering them to unlock smarter, more sustainable charging with ease. Together with EO, we are significantly expanding the ev.energy virtual power plant (VPP) in the UK, which in turn generates greater value for our utility customers, enhances grid stability, and crucially, accelerates the shift to clean energy."

Customers installing a new EO Mini Pro 3 on or after 7th July 2025, will be able to access ev.energy’s app and enhanced services, including energy tariff integration, charging statistics, and rewards for charging at optimal times for the grid. Customers whose EO Mini Pro 3 was installed before 7th July 2025 will be contacted individually with instructions to set up the ev.energy app in the coming weeks. The migration for existing customers will take place from 4th August 2025.
