A smarter way to charge: EO Charging partners with ev.energy to improve EO Mini Pro 3 home charging experience
At EO, we’re committed to finding ways of improving our customer’s charging experience, such as helping them reduce costs, lower their carbon footprint, or better track their energy usage.
We’re therefore excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with ev.energy, a smart electric vehicle (EV) charging platform, to provide EO Mini Pro 3 customers with improved features, new tools, and enhanced smart charging capabilities.
What’s changing
As our long-term focus moves to commercial EV fleets, we’re working with ev.energy to make sure our EO Mini Pro 3 customers continue to enjoy a best-in-class home charging experience.
This means that we will be discontinuing the EO app and associated services, with EO Mini Pro 3 users transitioning to the ev.energy platform.
Features EO Mini Pro 3 users can enjoy with ev.energy
ev.energy will provide EO Mini Pro 3 users with a new app and enhanced smart charging capabilities, including automatic off-peak charging, real-time energy usage insights, and tailored charging schedules.
ev.energy’s app and services are designed to provide improved support, giving users even greater control over how and when they charge. Users will be able to:
Earn rewards for charging at optimal times for the grid
Automatically charge with the cleanest electricity available in their area
Integrate with their energy tariffs
See in-depth charging statistics to track costs and usage
Seamlessly connect to home solar PV systems
When the changes will take place
Customers with EO Mini Pro 3 devices installed on or after 7th July 2025, can register with, and enjoy, the ev.energy app as soon as their device has been installed.
Customers with devices installed before 7th July 2025, will transition to ev.energy from the 4th August 2025. ev.enegy will manage this transition, and once customers have been moved across, the ev.energy team will get in touch directly with instructions on how to download and set up the ev.energy app.
What EO Mini Pro 3 users need to do
EO Mini Pro 3 users don’t need to do anything for now.
Users with devices installed before 7th July 2025, just need to make sure their EO Mini Pro 3 charger is connected to their Wi-Fi by 4th August 2025 so that it can be transferred successfully. For those not sure how to do this, please refer to our connectivity guide which can be found on our support page.
